When Hurricane Melissa caused widespread destruction across the Caribbean in late October 2025, communities faced huge landslides, flooding, and power outages.
Through the Myriad Alliance global giving network, philanthropic support moved across borders quickly and compliantly, which meant aid reached affected areas fast. This response shows how coordinated international giving can accelerate disaster response and strengthen community resilience.
Myriad USA coordinated the response via its DisasterLink Network which directed funds to pre-vetted local charities and partners in the Caribbean. This worldwide network works with trusted local organisations and charities in disaster-prone areas around the world.
Earlier this year Prism became a member of the Myriad Alliance.
