Prism the Gift Fund is a UK registered charity, and company limited by guarantee in England and Wales. Our mission is to increase the flow of funds into the charitable sector which we deliver through 2 key offerings:

  • Donor Advised Fund (DAF) services to HNW / UHNW individuals & families who channel their national and international philanthropy through Prism the Gift Fund as a time, cost, and tax effective alternative to one’s own grant making foundation.
  • Collective Fund services - charitable, finance, and governance infrastructure - to groups who want to create brands or projects of a charitable nature under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund. The Collective enters into a relationship with Prism, benefiting from our charitable expertise and where we provide the administration, due diligence and disbursement of the funds raised in their name. Both of the charity's service offerings have increased exponentially in popularity over the last five years, with Prism's income and grant making to charities around the world last year being in excess of £45m and £25m respectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of office systems including answering the telephone and re-directing calls, filing, meeting and greeting clients, collecting and managing incoming post and drafting timely replies to incoming correspondence
  • Act as a first point of contact for the office and support Relationship Managers with responding to general enquiries from individuals, organisations and other stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to Relationship Managers
  • Liaise with and support our internal team to ensure all donations are processed and recorded efficiently
  • Work with the Collective Fund team to capture relevant account management information
  • Ensure thank-you letters are drafted and sent to donors
  • Support and deliver other projects and tasks in line with developing your skills and experience

 

The Candidate

The Role:

Prism offers the unusual opportunity to work with both the charitable and private sectors, in particular law firms, accountancy firms and private banks. We are a niche organisation that offers clients the high level of service that they expect in the private sector while fulfilling charitable goals.

Reporting to the CEO, the Relationship Development Manager will be a key player in securing and maintaining income from High Net Worth donors. You will cultivate and steward philanthropy prospects through networking events, one to one meetings and other opportunities to represent Prism and talk passionately about what we do. This role has significant potential for growth and you will also have the opportunity to generate your own portfolio of HNW donors who you will personally manage and administer their giving.

You will work closely with the CEO and the Relationship Manager team to continue to identify new opportunities and help shape the culture and strategic direction of Prism.

 

The Candidate:

* You will be a natural relationship developer with excellent communication skills and a determination to identify opportunities and represent Prism

* You will be self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership for your own workload and schedule

* A sharp thinker with a proven track record of delivering income against agreed targets and timescales (this may be from either the charity or private sector)

  • Monthly book keeping and organisation of client accounts

The Candidate

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join our small Collective Funds team in order to help manage various diverse and exciting accounts within Prism. The successful candidate will be a fast learner with strong attention to detail, numeracy and administration skills. You will have the ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with clients and will be looking for the opportunity to gain experience of working for a dynamic and constantly evolving charity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing key collective fund clients for Prism
  • Administering clients’ finances, including but not limited to managing book-keeping, reconciliation, cash flow, banking, making payments, and providing donation summaries and statements.
  • Ensuring prompt, clear, and compelling communications with clients
  • Conducting due diligence to ensure all clients’ activities abide by the UK charitable law and the Charity Commission’s regulations
  • Assisting in development of effective strategies to steward collective fund clients
  • Monitoring and recording donations into clients’ funds
  • Working closely with the processing and compliance team to ensure a high level of service delivery
  • Working collaboratively on the growth strategy for Prism
