Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to join our team to help manage various diverse and exciting accounts within Prism the Gift Fund. In this role, you will personally manage and administer both a portfolio of High-Net-Worth donors and their giving as well as a number of Collective Fund accounts. You will have significant compliance and grant making knowledge with experience in the sector. The role offers itself to opportunities to work on wider organisational priorities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment where they can play a key part in increasing the flow of funds into the charitable sector and see the impact of the work they do.

The Organisation:

Prism the Gift Fund (Prism) is a UK registered charity, and company limited by guarantee in England and Wales. Its objective is to increase the distribution of charitable funds globally to charities, not for profits and social enterprises. It does this by offering a personal service to administer the giving of HNW Individuals, Groups and Foundations making significant gifts. Our growing team is a talented group of exceptional colleagues who are professional, entrepreneurial and hardworking.

Prism won the Philanthropy Offering/Initiative of the Year in the WealthBriefing European Awards 2024 and Outstanding Contribution to Wealth for Good Initiatives in the WealthForGood Awards 2024.

For the last four years, Prism has been included in the Spear's 500 top recommended advisers in the Philanthropy category. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Anna Josse, won the 2025 WealthBriefing Wealth for Good award 2025 for Overall Female Executive Championing a Wealth for Good Strategy.

Anna Josse is also listed as one of the top ten philanthropy advisers in the UK in Spear’s 500.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2025, we are proud to have reached a cumulative donation income of over $1bn dollars and distributed over $600 million towards charitable activities globally. Prism’s mission of increasing the flow of funds into the charitable sector is achieved through three key offerings:

  • Donor Advised Fund (DAF) services to HNW / UHNW Individuals & Families who channel their national and international philanthropy through Prism as a time, cost, and tax effective alternative to one’s own grant making foundation.
  • Collective Fund (CF) services - charitable, finance, and governance infrastructure - to groups who want to create brands or projects of a charitable nature under Prism’s auspices. The CF enters into a relationship with Prism, benefiting from our charitable expertise, a full administrative service including due diligence and disbursement of the funds raised in their name.
  • Foundation administration services - Designed for grant-making charities, many of which do not require a full-time staff member or dedicated office with the associated expenses. Volunteer trustee boards, often balancing multiple commitments, may find it challenging to oversee the foundation’s daily operations. Outsourcing administration to Prism’s expert team offers a cost-effective, tailored solution. This allows the board to concentrate on selecting grant recipients and executing the organisation’s grant-making strategy, while benefiting from professional support in day-to-day management.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing key and complex DAF clients and CF clients for Prism;
  • Administering clients’ finances, including but not limited to managing book-keeping, reconciliation, cashflow, banking, making payments, and providing donation summaries and statements.
  • Day to day client and intermediary liaison and management and ensuring prompt, clear, and compelling communications with clients;
  • Conducting due diligence to ensure all clients’ activities abide by the UK charitable law and the Charity Commission’s regulations;
  • Monitoring and assessing project reports from grantees and clients
  • Monitoring and recording donations into clients’ funds;
  • Vetting and recording of new payees, contractors and grant recipients;

Management

  • Support the Head of DAFs and CFs in developing new tools and improving processes to increase efficiency and client service;
  • Working closely with the processing and compliance team to ensure a high level of service delivery;
  • Assisting in development of effective strategies to steward DAF and CF clients;
  • Opportunities for line management responsibilities;
  • Ability to resolve complaints and issues efficiently and in a timely manner;
  • Dealing with any other third-party service providers as and when is necessary;
  • Provide guidance and support to the relationship management team on key issues as and when needed.

Wider team

  • Support the external communications requirements such as sourcing case studies and drafting impact reports;
  • Attending events and networking to expand Prism’s reach, showcasing our service offering and being an ambassador for the organisation.

The Candidate

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the charity sector.
  • At least 4 years experience with grant making, demonstrating strong analytical abilities with a focus around compliance. Must have meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in a relationship management role, ideally with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.
  • A good understanding of the level of service required by HNW and UHNW Individuals in the private sector and a passion for delivering exceptional donor stewardship.
  • A proven strong communicator, both written and verbal. A confident speaker and will relish the opportunity to promote Prism and communicate with ease the technical details of what we do.
  • Comfortable working with confidential or sensitive data with knowledge of how to communicate and store information safely.
  • Positive attitude to work and willingness to learn new things.
  • A natural multi-tasker - Extremely organised with the ability to work under pressure, use initiative and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative skills and comfortable handling administration for a number of diverse accounts.
  • Team player with the ability to work well with the rest of the team in order to develop, implement, and monitor effective processes for collective fund clients.
  • Excellent computer skills, being proficient in Microsoft Office and other software tools for managing a variety of internal processes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and solution driven in approach.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, environment contributing to the continued growth and development of Prism.
