On Thursday 26th June at 4:30pm, the doors of the Charterhouse were opened to private clients and intermediaries to hear a fantastic interview of Lord Stanley Fink by Lord Daniel Finkelstein. Prism the Gift Fund and Close Brothers AM welcomed over 60 to the magnificently historic City gem, for a frank and candid exchange between the former head of MAN Group and the noted Times associate editor.
Entitled “Philanthropic Journeys” , the exchange charted Lord Fink’s path from executive to philanthropist, his views on the sector, and how relationships between organisations and donors tend to – and should – develop. With some great questions from the floor, and polished off by a reception in the Long Room, we hope that those who attended will think twice about philanthropy, for themselves and for their clients.
