Since the beginning of our financial year in July 2015, Prism the Gift Fund has experienced one of the busiest times in its history. We’ve seen a rapid increase in business, receiving and giving out more donations than ever.
By offering a truly flexible way to donate to your favourite charities, Prism the Gift Fund has attracted clients from all around the world. In this financial year alone, we’ve attracted six new individual Donor Advised Funds (DAF). As we are only half way through the year, we expect this number to be significantly higher by the end of the year. Whatever your philanthropic objectives, ours DAFS help you manage your charitable giving in a simple and effective way. They are easy to set up and provide a fantastic alternative to establishing your own independent trust or foundation.
Not only have we seen an increase in individual client accounts, we’ve also taken on 31 new Collective Funds. These groups raise money for particular causes, whilst benefiting from the perks of being a charity. They operate under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund, making it easy for their donations to benefit from the UK gift aid scheme. To give a few examples, we are the back-office support for Help Refugees, The World Wide Tribe, The Uganda International Marathon and many more. Last but not least, this year PtGF has welcomed three new foundations & charities to the fold. We provide office support to the originations, taking away the hassle of admin so more time can be spent on fundraising and other important activities.
It’s fair to say it’s been a really positive start to the year for us. We’ve given out more money than ever to charitable organisations, increasing the flow of funds into the sector.
