Prism CEO Anna Josse recently contributed to an online blog written by Investec, a specialist bank and asset manager. In the blog, Investec aimed to address the lack of knowledge around tax effective giving by highlighting 9 need to know things about the world of charitable giving.
The blog offers an insight into different benefits philanthropists can receive from using a tax effective charitable vehicle such as a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Anna explains the many advantages of using a DAF; from the time and money individuals can save by outsourcing their charity administration and governance to the flexibility that a DAF offers; enabling individuals to make gifts of shares, art and property along with cash into their DAF.
